CLEVELAND — An Ohio promoter for the Motor Sports Monster Truck & Thrill Show has died from injuries after he was crushed beneath a giant tire at a show in Wisconsin.

The Saturday night accident comes just more than a week after a 6-year-old boy was killed in a monster truck event in Tacoma, Wash.

The coroner in Dane County, Wis., says 41-year-old George Eisenhart Jr. of Chardon, Ohio, died after an accident in Madison.

A witness told the Wisconsin State Journal that Eisenhart walked in front of one of the monster trucks just as it was about to pass by at the Dane County Coliseum.

A preliminary coroner's investigation found that neither Eisenhart nor the truck's driver, 54-year-old Daniel Patrick of Circleville, Ohio, saw each other before the collision.
