Kenneth 'Santa' Foster

Kenneth C. "Santa" Foster, 75, of Inverness, Fla., formerly of Freeport Road, died Wednesday at Millcreek Hospital, Erie County.

Born Feb. 2, 1930, in Applewold, Armstrong County, he was the son of Christopher D. and Carnelia A. Rhea Foster.

He was a retired truck driver.

Mr. Foster was a lifetime member of Freeport Road Alliance Church and also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Freeport.

His recent favorite pastime was playing Santa Claus. He also enjoyed camping.

Surviving is his wife, Virginia Keesy Foster, whom he married Dec. 27, 1949; six daughters, Mrs. Pete (Darlene Kay) Geibel of Butler, Mrs. Stanley (Connie) Focht of Connecticut, Mrs. Greg (Diane) Dolby of Ohio, Mrs. Bruce (Sally) Linton of Michigan and Mrs. John (Ginnie) Moore and Patti Foster, both of Florida; and a sister, Mrs. Virginia Stull of Maryland. He also is survived by 15 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Sherri Durci; and a brother, Merrill Foster preceded him in death.

FOSTER - Friends of Kenneth C. "Santa" Foster, who died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Visitation also will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Freeport Road Alliance Church, 516 Freeport Road, where services will follow at 4 p.m. The Rev. William Kissell and the Rev. Tim Dietrich will officiate.Memorial donations may be made to the Edinboro Church Camp, 12940 Fry Road Edinboro, PA 16412.
