Jack N. Wilkinson

Jack N. Wilkinson, 77, of Middlesex Township died Friday at his home.

Born Nov. 5, 1929, in Brownsville, Pa., he was the son of George and Nellie Dugan Wilkinson.

He was a truck driver for Interstate Motor Freight for more than 35 years, and he often worked at Braddock's Restaurant in Farmington, Pa., where he tended bar and was a handy man who could fix anything. He loved the outdoors and watching Steelers and Penn State football games. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Shirley A. Shaffer Wilkinson, whom he married Nov. 9, 1955; his children, Jack N. Wilkinson Jr., and Jill A. Weatherford, both of Middlesex Township; Tom L. (Kim) Wilkinson of Mars; Robert S. Wilkinson of Florida, and Kelley S. Deane of Freedom, Pa.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

<B>WILKINSON</B> — Friends of Jack N. Wilkinson, who died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, Pa.Services will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Vernon C. Borchert officiating. Interment will follow in West Bend Cemetery, E. Millsboro, Pa.Please pay tribute at www.schellhassfh.com.
