Dolores T. Murtaugh
Dolores T. Murtaugh, 81, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Brentwood, died Tuesday at Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.
Born March 26, 1928, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Lozowski) Witkowski Willis.
Mrs. Murtaugh was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, Cranberry Township.
She was a 1950 graduate of Mount Mercy College and had begun studies toward a master's degree.
Mrs. Murtaugh was fluent in both Polish and Spanish languages and taught Spanish and English at Carrick High School.
She was a member of the Cranberry Senior Center and loved to travel, especially to California and Las Vegas.
She is survived by five children, Harry C. Murtaugh III of Dallas, Texas, William "Bill" (Wendy) Murtaugh of San Diego, Calif., Joseph Murtaugh of San Diego, Calif., Helen (Allen) Renshaw of Cranberry Township and Dolores Lori James) Landmeyer of Blythewood, S.C.; a brother, Joseph (Carol) Willis of Murrysville; a sister, Judy Willis of Brookline; and four grandchildren, Logan Helene Renshaw, Cayden Allen Renshaw, Kaylee Landmeyer and Ava Landmeyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Harry C. Murtaugh Jr., who died Aug. 22, 1994.

Murtaugh, who died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
