The Summer Concert Series
2008 at Butler County Community College features a performance by the Vince Tavolario Combo playing Broadway hits and popular songs at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Succop Theater on campus. The Pittsburgh Philharmonic will play July 6. Admission is free. Call 724-284-8505.

Thursdays in the Park Concert Series takes place in the Cranberry Rotary Amphitheater in Community Park. All shows start at 7 p.m. and are on Thursdays, except for the Joe Negri show, which is on a Tuesday. The hard-edged blues band Jill West and Blues Attack will play tonight. A pop punk show featuring Minnesota punk rockers The Side Project, Wisconsin pop punkers the Jetty boys, Maine powerpop band The Leftovers, and Mars' own pop punk style locals The Shuttlecocks is planned for 6 p.m. tonight in Pete's basement club setting, 1511 Three Degree Road, Mars.
<B>JazzLive</B> takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Agnes R. Katz Plaza, 621 Penn Ave. The music then continues from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Backstage Bar in Theater Square, 655 Penn Ave. Playing this coming Tuesday will be Al Dowe and Sandy Dowe/Tim Stevens.
