Louis D. Watterson
Louis D. Watterson, 18, of Cape Canaveral, Fla., formerly of Butler, died Sunday.
Born March 17, 1986, in Chicago, he lived in Butler until sixth grade, after which he moved to Florida with his father. He had been active in Butler area baseball.
He was a student at Cocoa Beach High School, where he was an all-state wrestler. He also was an avid fisherman and recently won a fishing tournament with his father.
Surviving are his mother, Bridget Kelly of Butler; his father, David C. Watterson of Cape Canaveral; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Watterson of Slippery Rock; and three brothers, Desmond and Tony Best, and Randall Watterson, and a sister, Blaine Best, all of Butler. Aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and a nephew also survive.
His grandfather, Mark D. Watterson, died March 7, 2004.
WATTERSON - Friends of Louis D. Watterson, who died Sunday, April 4, 2004, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 288 Meridian Road. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor Tom Morrow officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Seventh-day Adventist Church, 288 Meridian Road, Butler, PA 16001.
