Eric J. 'Frelvis' Welton

Eric J. "Frelvis" Welton, 20, of Criswell in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, died Tuesday as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.

Born Sept. 4, 1983, in Kittanning, he was the son of Carl L. "Sonny" and Yvonne R. "Vonnie" Farone Welton.

He was a 2002 graduate of Karns City High School, where he played football, and he was a 2003 graduate of the New Castle School of Trades.

Mr. Welton was an electrician at Mitsubishi Electric Power Products in Warrendale. He also worked at Taylors Riverside in East Brady and the Clearview Mall Sears store.

He was a member St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, movies and classic cars.

Surviving are his parents of Criswell; his fiancée, Amber Allshouse of Cowansville R.D.; two brothers, James C. Welton and his wife, Amy, and Frank T. Farone and his wife, Amanda, all of Karns City R.D.; his maternal grandmother, Ada B. Farone of Karns City R.D.; his paternal grandmother, Elsie G. Welton of Chicora; and a niece and a nephew, Jaycee L. Welton and Austin T. Farone, both of Karns City R.D. Also surviving are aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank P. Farone and Carl J Welton; and an uncle, Jack Hesidence Jr.

WELTON - Friends of Eric J. "Frelvis" Welton, who died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at CHARLES B. BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Eusebius Church, East Brady. The Rev. William Kuba will officiate. Burial will be at St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township, Clarion County.A parish prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.Please sign the guest book at www.butlereagle.com.
