GraCe VanDyke

Grace (Bartoe) VanDyke, of Cabot, celebrated her 100th birthday on Friday, May 30, with a party at Whitestar Fraternal Society in Freeport, which was attended by 104 guests who enjoyed a buffet dinner.

The former Grace Bartoe was born on May 30, 1925.

She married the late James Forrester VanDyke on Nov. 27, 1946. He is now deceased.

Although they were not blessed with children, the VanDykes had a niece, several nephews and many cousins whom they adored.

Grace VanDyke is a member of the Freeport Methodist Church.
