Six people were sent to the hospital after a Saturday, June 7, two-vehicle crash in Butler Township.

Township police responded to the crash around 5:55 p.m. near the intersection of South Eberhart Road and Route 3002. Police said Tomiko Mackiewicz, 43, of Butler, ran a red light and crashed into the vehicle of Andrew Deal, 23, of Lyndora.

Mackiewicz had three juveniles in the back of his vehicle, and Deal had one passenger in the front seat. All parties were transported by Butler Ambulance Service to Butler Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries, officials said.

Butler Township Volunteer Fire District also responded.
