Bishop Emeritus Lawrence Brandt dies at 86
The Diocese of Greensburg has announced that Lawrence E. Brandt, Bishop Emeritus, died on Sunday morning, June 8, at the age of 86.
Brandt was appointed as the fourth Bishop of Greensburg by then-Pope John Paul II, and was consecrated on March 4, 2004, by Cardinal Justin Rigali. He resigned from his post in 2015.
