Jennings Environmental Education Center is competing against other state parks in Pennsylvania in a monthlong competition called the Bio Blitz, where park visitors will be tasked with finding as many species in the park as possible.
Visitors participating in the challenge will be asked to download an app and upload observations on any plant, animal or fungi species they find. Twenty-two other state parks in Pennsylvania are also taking part in the event.
The Bio Blitz runs through Monday, June 30.
