Jon O. Pisor, 65, of Reading died Saturday, Sept. 12, at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon in Lebanon County.

Born Sept. 4, 1944, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Russell and Julia (Oliver) Pisor.

Mr. Pisor was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army on Nov. 1, 1973, after serving 18 months in Vietnam as a pastor's assistant. He earned a Bronze Star for his valor and an Army Commendation Medal.

He graduated from the New Castle Business College with a degree in higher accounting and business administration.

Surviving are a daughter, Robyn Doyle and her husband, Dan, of Pittsburgh; a son, Troy Pisor and his wife, Tina, of Butler; and two grandsons, Brycen and Aaron Pisor.
