USIS workers lend a hand

USIS employees Ken Good and Rita Ferrere shelve books at the Grove City Community Library. USIS employees and their families volunteered for various projects Oct. 15 during the company's Community Day.

USIS employees and their families volunteered their time Oct. 15 to benefit agencies of the United Way of Butler and Mercer counties and the Grove City community. More than 700 employees worked on 53 projects across the nation.

Volunteers shelved books at the Grove City Community Library, visited with residents at the Trinity Living Center, cleaned up Memorial Park and playgrounds in Grove City and held a food drive at the Save-A-Lot grocery store to benefit the Grove City Community Food Pantry.

USIS volunteers also helped with landscaping at the Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg.
