Richard L. Stroupe
Richard L. Stroupe, 71, of New Sewickley Township, Beaver County, went to be with the Lord Monday.
Born March 23, 1935, in Connelly Springs, N.C., he was a son of Ernest and Lila Moses Stroupe.
He was retired from R&R Window Erectors, which he and his wife had owned and operated. He currently worked at the Butler Auto Auction.
Mr. Stroupe was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Economy. He also belonged to Local 3 of the Ironworkers.
Following graduation from Freedom High School in 1953, he served with the Air Force in Germany.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Regena Hammerle Stroupe; three sons, Daniel Stroupe and his wife, Donna, of Roaring Springs, Glenn Stroupe and his wife, Joanne, of Economy and Michael Stroupe and his wife, Karen, New Sewickley Township; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters and two brothers, Lena (Harvey) Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, Jay (Evelyn) Stroupe of Mocksville, N.C., Bill (MaryAnn) Stroupe of New Sewickley Township and Betty (Loy) Crumbly of Dubary, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Early, and a brother, Glenn Stroupe.

Stroupe, who died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES</B>, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, Visitation also be held from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the Fellowship Baptist Church of Economy, where services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev.
