Lyndora man charged after Butler Township narcotics raid
A Lyndora man was apprehended Thursday, May 22, after police raided a Butler Township home for narcotics.
Braylon W. Black, 30, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession after the Butler County Emergency Services Unit and Butler County Drug Task Force executed a narcotics warrant on a Bessemer Avenue home.
Police said upon making entry, Black was found walking from the kitchen and taken into custody without incident.
A search of the home uncovered about $1,819, two smartphones, about 151 grams of an unknown white powder, about 42 grams of crack cocaine and about 5 grams of cocaine.
Black is being held in Butler County Prison on a $100,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 5 before District Judge Kevin O’Donnell.
