Ruth McIlvain

Ruth McIlvain, of Evans City, celebrated her 100th birthday on May 23.

She planned to celebrate with a family dinner at Mama Rosa’s in Butler Township.

The former Ruth Heckert was born on May 23, 1925, in Butler.

She married Albert E. McIlvain on July 4, 1947. He is deceased.

McIlvain has two children, Donald McIlvain, of Butler, and Nancy (McIlvain) Secunda, of Butler.

She also has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

McIlvain worked as an accountant.
