Armco Credit Union will host a free virtual college planning workshop on Jan. 13. The public is invited to register.

The families of high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend. The interactive workshop will cover topics such as choosing a college, financing options and applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA.

The event, at 6:30 p.m., is free and open to the public. To register, visit www.armcocu.com.

Armco Credit Union is also now accepting scholarship applications.The credit union will award $20,000 in scholarships to students planning to enter an accredited trade school or college this fall.
