Live music in Butler County coming this summer
As summer returns, live music will be available at area parks and other venues.
Here are a few local places and events where people can catch live music.
Live music can be expected at Butler’s Foodie Fridays — which are scheduled to take place June 20, July 18 and Aug. 15 — when food trucks gather along Butler’s Main Street.
While no acts have been made public yet, each Foodie Friday has a different theme. For instance, there’s the ’80s in June and the Dog Days of Summer in July. The events are held every third Friday of the month beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Slippery Rock Golf Club & Events Center on Ralston Road in Slippery Rock hosts live music every Friday night at 7 p.m.

Cranberry Township’s summer celebration will feature a mix of local and regional acts. Community Days, the annual three-day celebration presented by the Cranberry Township Community Chest, is set for July 10 through 12.
One staple of the event is the live entertainment at the Rotary Amphitheater.
The music lineup includes This-That & The Other Thing and Old Skool on July 10, and 56 East and The AltRocks on July 11. The shows on both evenings run from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
