Deborah S. Whisel, 48, of Chicora passed away at 6:20 p.m. Aug. 8 at her home.

She was born Sept. 22, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of the late Robert Clark and the late Carolyn (Vermillion) Clark.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas E. Whisel, who she married April 16, 1980; a daughter, Chandilar Whisel of Boardman, Ohio; a son, Samuel Whisel of Butler; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Julia (David) Thexton of California; and a brother, Michael Tinnon of Florida.

She was a pharmacy technician at Eckert Drug and she received at certificate from the Pittsburgh School of Massage-Reflexology.

She had a big heart for always helping anyone who would ask. She would always put everyone first. She will be greatly missed by not only her family and friends but by the people who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Clark, who died in 1980.
