PITTSBURGH — Evgeni Malkin was credited with the game-winning overtime goal in the Pittsburgh Penguins' 5-4 victory over the New York Rangers Thursday night.

After a postgame video review, Jordan Staal was given his second goal of the game because it appeared the shot also deflected off him.

Staal later told Penguins officials he did not touch the shot, and the NHL changed the goal upon additional review Friday.
