Taco Bell employee accused of throwing drink through customer’s sunroof
A 17-year-old Taco Bell employee is facing criminal mischief charges after being accused of throwing a fountain drink through a woman’s sunroof in Mercer County.
State police in Mercer County said they responded May 17 to Taco Bell on West Main Street Extension in Pine Township and spoke with a 22-year-old woman. Police reported the incident Monday, July 20.
The woman reported she was in the drive-through when the employee threw the drink through her sunroof, which caused an estimated $9,409.28 in damages to the vehicle’s interior.
Police said the woman attempted to speak with Taco Bell management but “they were not willing to cooperate,” so she reported it to the police.
Police said the employee was charged accordingly.
