3:18 p.m. Monday — Patrick W. Bransfield, 35, was arrested on an out-of-state warrant at his home in the 300 block of West Diamond Street. The warrant was issued out of Florida.Later, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office in Florida advised police it plans to extradite Bransfield, according to a police report. The suspect, meanwhile, was placed in the Butler County Prison on a fugitive from justice charge.Monday — An Allegheny County company's vehicle was damaged in a hit-and-run accident at Main and Jefferson streets. The suspect vehicle, possibly a tractor-trailer, struck the driver's side rear corner of the other vehicle owned by Easley & Rivers of Monroeville.Company employees believe the accident happened around 8:30 a.m.Monday — Police accused Andrea N. Ertzberger, 39, of Fenelton with bouncing a check for $252.79 at Friedman's supermarket on West Brady Street on June 30, 2013. The check was written on an account with insufficient funds. Ertzberger faces a charge of bad checks.12:23 p.m. Thursday — An unidentified vehicle reportedly struck two sections of a black metal fence at a home in the 200 block of East Penn Street.4:17 p.m., March 13 — Brandon D. Cornetti, 22, of Oakland Township was arrested for suspicion of drugged driving on Amy Avenue. Police said following the stop, an officer noticed a suspected marijuana pipe in the center console.Later, a search of the car turned up a marijuana grinder, pill bottle with suspected marijuana residue and other contraband, according to a police report. Cornetti allegedly admitted smoking marijuana earlier that day.Toxicology results of a blood test showed the presence of marijuana, the report said.Police said Cornetti faces charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, driving with no insurance, driving without registration and fraudulent use of a license plate.

7:23 a.m. Sunday — Thomas Sweeny, 48, of Freeport lost control of his vehicle on slush-covered Route 422 and hit a guardrail.3:19 p.m. Thursday — A 14-year-old student at the Butler Intermediate High School was cited for harassment after hitting a 16-year-old student.3:44 a.m. March 16 — George Stutz Jr., 29, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop. Police said he also was cited for careless driving.

2:13 p.m. Friday — Casey A. Johnson, 26, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of drugged driving on Ivan Drive.In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, Johnson also faces charges of possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Friday — Police charged Ian A. Meier, 19, of Mercer with dissemination of child pornography and harassment in connection with a Sept. 10 call from administrators at Grove City High School.The call concerned a picture of a juvenile student holding a sexual object that was posted on the school's Twitter site, according to a police report.

4:39 a.m. Sunday — A car crashed through a fence and over an embankment on Route 228 west. The unknown driver was gone when police got there. Erin Lazor of Cabot owns the car.Friday — Police charged Laura Bennett, 34, of Valencia with boarding a school bus at her children's bus stop at the Villa Vista Estates trailer park on Browns Hill Road.Bennett told police that she believed her children were being bullied on the bus when she got into the vehicle and confronted the driver. She also warned the other children who she suspected were bullying her children, police said.Police Sgt. Randy Ruediger said school officials advised him that Bennett's claims were previously investigated and determined to be unfounded. She is charged with unauthorized school bus entry.1:44 p.m. Thursday — Three people were hurt when a car driven by Tierra Schuster, 18, of Valencia and a van driven by Anita Szczypinski Gorham, 58, of Pittsburgh collided at Route 8 and Denny Road.The crash happened, police said, when Schuster pulled in front of the other vehicle. Both drivers and Laysha Gray, 19, of Valencia, a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries.Police said Schuster was cited for a stop sign violation.10:35 p.m. March 21 — George C. Bentz, 44, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, was arrested for drunken driving on Route 8 south of Dinnerbell Road. Toxicology results later showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.15 percent, or nearly double the state's 0.08 percent legal limit.Bentz is charged with driving under the influence.

Monday — Jerrell D. Fleming, 26, of Pittsburgh was arraigned on charges he sold crack Jan. 13 in Butler. The task force on March 4 obtained an arrest warrant for Fleming in that alleged drug trafficking case.The suspect was nabbed on the warrant last week in Allegheny County.Fleming, who is charged with delivery and possession of a controlled substance, is being held in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail.

Monday — Someone fired a gun into the side of a home in the 500 block of Centerville Pike in Slippery Rock Township. The incident happened between 6 p.m. Sunday and 5:15 p.m. Monday.Monday — An unknown thief stole 20 to 30 livestock fence panels from the front yard of a home in the 600 block of Franklin Road in Slippery Rock Township. The theft happened between March 23 and 31.Monday — Police charged Michael J. Hilliard, 33, of Butler with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop about 2 a.m. March 29 at Mercer Road and Margate Lane in Center Township.Hilliard is charged with driving under the influence, not stopping at a red light, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving.3:37 a.m. Sunday — An Armstrong County woman was hurt when Erin N. Funera, 21, of Hermitage, Mercer County, lost control of his car on the snow and slid into a utility pole on Branchton Road just east of Franklin Road in Slippery Rock Township.Funera's passenger, 21-year-old Sophia A. Bajack, 21, of Apollo, was taken to Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt. Police said Funera was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Noon Thursday — An unidentified sport utility vehicle backed into a cement island at the parking lot of the Kristy Kleen Car Wash on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township. The unknown driver did not report the accident that damaged the property.Anyone with information about the hit-and-run crash is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.1:48 a.m. March 9 — Eric Young, 35, of Renfrew was arrested for suspicion of DUI after he crashed his vehicle on Spithaler School Road in Forward Township.2:56 a.m. March 8 — William C. Kerr, 40, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 8 and Staff Road in Brady Township.3:55 a.m. Feb. 22 — David R. Marshall, 46, of Hilliards was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his vehicle got stuck in a ditch at Branchton and Morgan roads in Washington Township.

7:50 a.m. Monday — One person was hurt in a two-car wreck at Route 422 and Church Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. A 17-year-old Portersville boy and Russell M. Blackburn, 44, of Edinburg were driving the vehicles.Kelly L. Blackburn, 36, of Edinburg, a passenger in Russell Blackburn's car, was taken to Jameson Hospital in New Castle with minor injuries. Shenago Township police and volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.Police said the boy, who they did not identify, was cited for a stop sign violation.
