Philip Abraham

Philip Abraham, 86, of Brooksville, Fla., died Monday at his home.

He was born in Butler and moved to the Brooksville area from Butler 20 years ago.

Mr. Abraham had been a hot mill roller at Armco-Butler Works and was a member of the Armco Veterans' Club.

He was a member of St. Anthony's Syrian Orthodox Church and the Syrian Temple of Pittsburgh. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge 272, the Consistory Legion of Honor Valley of New Castle and the Butler Moose Club.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the National Guard and the American Legion.

Survivors include five sons, Rodney and Phillip Abraham, both of Butler, Charles Abraham of McLeansville, N.C., Michael Abraham of Fairfax, Va., and Thomas Abraham of Sheffield, Warren County; a daughter, Linda C. Baum of Brooksville; a brother, Abie Abraham of Butler; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

<B>ABRAHAM </B>— Friends of Philip Abraham, who died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, were received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Merritt Funeral Home</B>, 2 S. Lemon Ave., Brooksville, Fla.Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
