Helen Kerschbaumer
Helen L. Kerschbaumer, 83, of Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, died Sunday at Clarview Rest in Piney Township, Clarion County.
Born April 19, 1923, in East Brady, she was the daughter of William F. and Mabel C. Schott Weibel.
She was a graduate of East Brady High School and operated Helen's Store, a small convenience store near the former East Brady High School. She also had worked at the G.C. Murphy and Kmart stores in Butler and had been a custodian at the Sugarcreek Elementary School in Armstrong County. She also was a volunteer for the American Red Cross Disaster Team.
Mrs. Kerschbaumer was an avid Republican and was active in Bradys Bend Township and Armstrong County politics.
She was a member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady.
Surviving are a brother, Charles Richard Weibel of East Brady; a longtime friend and caregiver, Lenora Satterlee of Bradys Bend; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Henry J. Kerschbaumer, whom she married Aug. 6, 1947, died April 12, 1989. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, William M. and Raymond A. Weibel; and three sisters, Dorothy Weibel, Ruth Snyder and Blanche Patsy.
<B>KERSCHBAUMER </B>— Friends of Helen L. Kerschbaumer, who died Sunday, July 30, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Eusebius Church, East Brady, with the Rev. William Laska, pastor of St. Charles Roman Catholic Church of New Bethlehem, officiating. Burial will be at St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township, Clarion County.A parish prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to St. Eusebius Church, 301 E.
