Glenda Watterson
Glenda M. Watterson, 73, of Cabot passed away at 6:10 a.m. Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia following a long battle with multiple sclerosis.
She was born Nov. 22, 1937, in Chicora to the late Floyd C. Kamerer and Ruth Seybert Kamerer.
Mrs. Watterson was a 1955 graduate of Karns City School.
She was a waitress at the G.C. Murphy Co. and worked at Bobbie Brooks until it closed. She then became a dedicated homemaker.
Mrs. Watterson was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Watterson is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Kay C. (Joseph) Tirk of Butler and Ms. Martha L. Bish of Chicora; four brothers, Donald C. Kamerer of Chicora, Larry A. (June) Kamerer of Mims, Fla., Randall F. (Karen) Kamerer of Chicora and Ed R. Kamerer of Chicora; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle M. Watterson, who she married Sept. 19, 1959, and who passed away April 11, 1999; and one brother-in-law, Edgar A. Bish.

Watterson, who died Thursday, July 14, 2011.Private funeral services were at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, Butler, with Pastor Ralph Storm, officiating. Burial will take place in the Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., Butler, PA 16001.
