Anita M. Kucer, 87, of Broomall, Delaware County, Pa., formerly of Butler, passed away Tuesday at Broomall Presbyterian Village. Mrs. Kucer had lived in Broomall since 1980.

Born in Butler, Nov. 25, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Arturo and Teresa Gori.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Frank Kucer and his wife, Dr. Kathleen Kucer, of Bethlehem, Pa.; two daughters, Dr. Marilyn Berkely and her husband, Dr. Joseph Berkely, of New Castle and Dr. Susan Edmonds and her husband, Dr. Scott Edmonds, of Broomall, with whom she made her home; seven grandsons, Jeffrey Kucer and his wife, Diana, of Mountain View, Calif., Dr. Brian Kucer and his wife, Dr. Kate Murray of New Haven, Conn., Andrew Kucer of Philadelphia, Daniel Kucer of Brooklyn, N.Y., Christopher Berkely of Philadelphia, Ryan Edmonds of Philadelphia and Chad Edmonds of Broomall; and two great-grandsons, Linus Kucer of New Haven, Conn., and Cole Kucer of Mountain View, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kucer, who passed away Aug. 13, 1976; two brothers; and one sister.

<B>KUCER</B>— A Mass of Christian burial for Anita M. Kucer, who died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, was celebrated at noon today at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Butler.
