Charlotte G. "Dolly" Pryor Mentch Smith, 74, of Evans City died Thursday evening at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.

Born Oct. 3, 1932, in Bradys Bend Township, she was the daughter of James A. and Mary Westhoven Pryor.

She was a member of the White Oaks Springs Presbyterian Church in Renfrew and L.O.O.M. in Niles, Ohio.

Surviving are four daughters and their husbands, Judy and David Miller of Renfrew, Lorraine and Steven Berresford of Renfrew, Mary and Ronald Gillis of Evans City and Susan and Mark Kristophel of Renfrew; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Davis of Evans City and Helen and husband, Bruce Nelson; nine grandchildren, Kevin (Julie), Nathan (Brandi) and Kurt Miller, Benjamin Berresford, Katie and Dana Gillis, Joshua, Zachary and Nicholos Kristopher; and four great-granddaughters, Alexandra, Kailey, Riley and Whitney Miller.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emmett "Bud" Mentch, who died Aug. 31, 1980; her second husband, Thomas E. Smith, who died Nov. 7, 2000; six brothers; and four sisters.

"Dolly" Pryor Mentch Smith, who died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, will be held at a later time at White Oaks Springs Presbyterian Church with the church's paster, the Rev. W. Lee Dreyer, officiating.
