A federal grand jury in Pittsburgh indicted a Grove City man on charges of violating federal law regarding the sexual exploitation of a minor, Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti said Thursday.

Michael W. Boston, 40, was named in the four-count Indictment. On three occasions between October 2022 and July 2023, Boston transported material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor in interstate commerce. The indictment further alleges that Boston possessed material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor as recently as Oct. 11, 2024.

The law provides for a maximum total sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
