Mary Lucille Greiner

Mary Lucille Dean Greiner, 93, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday.

Formerly of the Butler area, she lived in South Florida for the past 50 years; and she recently made her home in Plantation, Fla., with her son and daughter-in-law, Burtt and Dolores Greiner.

Born March 20, 1914, she was the daughter of Alfred and Mary Christie Dean.

While living in the Butler area, she was a cook at The Hitching Post, Garden Gate, and the Double R restaurants.

She is survived by two sons, A. Burtt Greiner III and his wife, Dolores, of Plantation and John Greiner of Claremont, N.C.; three daughters, Eleanore McDermott of Bakersfield, Calif., Mary Danver and her husband, Daniel, of Claremont and Launa Olsen of Hickory, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Melson and her husband, Jackie, of Grapeland, Texas; three sisters, Dorothy Paxton and Elaine Ross, both of Sebring, Fla., and Aline Stoughton of Dayton, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Ella Dean of Saxonburg. Also surviving are a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Burtt Greiner, Jr., who died March 15, 1983; two sons, Alfred and William Greiner; a brother, Alfred Dean; and a sister, Ruth Fewkes.

<B>GREINER</B> — Services for Mary Lucille Dean Greiner, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, will be held Saturday at the Plantation Baptist Church, Plantation, Fla. Burial will be at the Vista Memorial Gardens, Miami Lakes, Fla.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Plantation Baptist Church, Mary Lucille Greiner Memorial Fund, 11700 NW 28th Ct., Plantation, FL 33323.Arrangements are by the <B>T.M. Ralph Funeral Home</B>, Plantation.
