Jennie Stewart Kinter

Jennie Stewart Kinter, 81, of West Park Road, Portersville, died Wednesday at her home.

Born in Muddy Creek Township, May 7, 1925, she was the daughter of John P. and Della Aiken Stewart.

She was a graduate of The Butler Business School and had been a secretary at Armco-Butler Works and Eppinger Restaurant.

Mrs. Kinter was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Portersville, where she belonged to the Ladies Missionary Society and the Ambassador class. She also was a member of the League of Women Voters and the Alpha Iota sorority.

Surviving are her husband, Edmund B. Kinter, whom she married Sept. 21, 1951; two sons, Dean Kinter of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Dwight Kinter of Newport News, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Della) Serafine of Butler; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She also is survived by a sister, Hazel Miller of Middlesex.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Oran P. Stewart; and two infant sisters.

<B>KINTER </B>— A memorial service for Jennie Stewart Kinter, who died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church of Portersville with the Rev. Dana Opp officiating.Burial will be private.Arrangements are being handled by <B>Ficca Funeral Home,</B> Grove City.
