Frances L. Grenci, 89, formerly of Butler, died Friday at Palm Gardens of Clearwater in Clearwater, Fla.

Born Aug. 23, 1918, in Rome, Ga., she was the daughter of John B. and Sally Blalock Locklear.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James (Cathy) McDonough of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Mrs. Keith (Francine) Hindman of Butler; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Peters of Jackson, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Carrie, Jayme and Patrick McDonough, and Korrin Hindman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Grenci, who died Nov. 17, 2001. A sister also preceded her in death.

Grenci, who died Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev.
