Stella Collier, 77, of Chicora died at 7 a.m. Saturday in Sunnyview Home following an illness.

Born April 8, 1930, in Chicora, she was the daughter of Floyd LaVere and Alice Young Collier.

She was retired from Castle Rubber in East Butler, where she had worked for many years.

She attended Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Clyde (Mary) Hillwig of Monroeville; a brother, Kenneth Collier of Chicora; and two nieces and three nephews.

Slippery Rock St., Chicora.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church, 429 N. Main St., Chicora, with the Rev. David DeWitt officiating.Burial will be in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.
