The Butler boys lacrosse team notched its first shutout in team history Wednesday when it pounded McGuffey for a 19-0, nonsection victory.

Zach Reiser and Tyler Kotch scored four goals each, while Ryan Harbaugh and Adam Bresnehan netted two scores each.

Cody Conklin, Tim Smith, Evan Andreyo, Zach Carben, Josh Shuster, Matt McCarrier and John Noel recorded one goal apiece.

Cole Harvey, Zach Harrison and Craig Slomer contributed assists for Butler, which travels to Chartiers Valley today.
