Jeffery G. Blanchard
Jeffery G. Blanchard, 51, of Bruin Road, Petrolia, died at 8:45 a.m. at his home following an illness.
Born June 4, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Ursala Breen and Chesley Blanchard.
He was Catholic and had graduated from Butler High School in 1972.
He served with the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam as a sergeant from 1972 until 1976 and was in charge of aviation ordinance.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
He was employed by Penn United Technologies since 1995 as a machinist and precision grinder and held journeyman qualifications while there.
He married the former Patricia Kudamik on June 2, 1979, at St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church near Prospect.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Lucas A. and Nathan A. Blanchard of Petrolia; two brothers, John Blanchard and his wife, Sherrie, of Fombell, and Paul Blanchard and his wife, Chrystal, of Erie; two sisters, Patricia Dicks and her husband, Richard, of Erie, and Barbara Benniston of Connoquenessing; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Lawrence Blanchard.
BLANCHARD - Friends of Jeffery G. Blanchard, who died Friday, July 1, 2005, will be received from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the RICHARD D HILLIS FUNERAL HOME, in Petrolia.Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev.
