Buffalo Township’s plans for the renovation of its municipal building have been put on hold. The township supervisors voted to reject all bids for the new building’s construction during a special meeting Monday, Dec. 23.
According to Supervisor Rich Hill, all bids the township received were higher than what it was willing to pay.
“The bids came in way above … so we decided to scrap that project,” Hill said.
The township initially began advertising bids for the renovation project in October, after having set aside $775,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funding solely for the project. However, according to Hill, all of the bids came in above that mark.
