Grayce S. Schrumpf

Grayce S. Schrumpf, 80, of Yellow Creek Road, Prospect, died at 9 a.m. Monday at Evie's Country Care on Game Reserve Road.

Born in Butler, Dec. 1, 1923, she was the daughter of George H. and Nellie Schlagel McCaslin.

She was a homemaker and a Protestant.

Surviving are a daughter and son, Mrs. Terry L. Snyder and Thomas Andrew Borcz, both of Prospect; a stepson, John W. Meyers of Harmony; four grandsons; and three step-grandchildren. A brother, Clyde E. McCaslin of Meridian; a sister, Mrs. Velma A. Borcz of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Her first husband, Andrew J. Borcz, died Aug. 19, 1989; and her second husband, Louis W. Schrumpf, died June 28, 1990. Two sisters also preceded her in death.

SCHRUMPF - Friends of Grayce S. Schrumpf, who died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday atTHOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Hall, minister of visitation of North Main Street Church of God, officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township. Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice Program, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001; or Evie's Country Care, 255 Game Reserve Road, Butler, PA 16002.Information also is available at www.thompson-miller.com.
