Cranberry Rotary Club
Annual charitable funds raised: $25,000
Annual club projects:Scholarships; senior citizen luncheon; blood analysis; Salvation Army bell ringing; bingo for seniors; Community Service Awards; Adopt-A-Highway; Relay for Life; area beautification; Light Up Night; and Christmas food certificates for needy families.
Main annual club project:In cooperation with Cranberry Township, the club worked on amphitheater in a township park, which created a place where events such as free concerts can be held. The club also awarded four $1,500 scholarships.
Club's Centennial Project:In cooperation with Cranberry Township, the club decided to create a dog park and exercise area in the park. The area will be one acre of fenced-in grass in which dogs and their owners can play or walk.
