MedExpress Urgent Care

Since opening, MedExpress Urgent Care has been welcomed by the Cranberry Township community.

"The community response has been overwhelming," said Erich Lipphardt, director of development and marketing. "It's been very encouraging to receive multiple thank you letters and praise."

The clinic serves the community's need for treatment of health care issues that are considered urgent.

"Cranberry residents love us because we can treat most of the illnesses or injuries that occur," said Dr. Nick Colovos, medical director at the clinic. "We provide them with great medical treatment and work with primary care physicians and emergency rooms to ensure that patients get appropriate treatment."

MedExpress Urgent Care is a full-service, walk-in clinic providing treatment of illness and injury for all ages. It is on Route 228 near Heritage Creek.

"There are no appointments," said Colovos, "Patients just walk in at their convenience, seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and there is always a physician on-site."

The benefits of convenient medical care extend to employers through MedExpress CorporateCare.

"CorporateCare provides workers' compensation and occupational medicine services, and employers love that employees get prompt, effective treatment," said Colovos.

"MedExpress CorporateCare offers physicals, drug screens, X-rays and lab testing, as well as clinical services, such as wound repair and the treatment of sprains and strains," said Colovos. "Effective communication, exceptional patient care and a focus on minimizing lost days are the benefits most commonly noted by local employers."

MedExpress is committed to helping its community by promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting youth, education and athletics through outreach efforts. To learn more, go to www.greatcarefast.com.
