Sentences
Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences Thursday:
Joseph Mittereder, 59, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to one to two years in jail, five years of probation, 150 hours of community service and a $2,500 fine for driving under the influence. Mittereder was immediately paroled. Mittereder was charged June 30 and pleaded guilty Jan. 27.
Heath A. Confer, 37, of Chicora, was sentenced to three years of probation with the first 120 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring, a $1,500 fine, eight hours of community service for possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence. Confer was charged March 12, 2020, and pleaded guilty Feb. 9.
Gary J. Palacios, 47, of Seven Fields, was sentenced to pay a $100 fine for disorderly conduct. Palacios was charged April 14 and pleaded guilty Feb. 8.
Deborah Ries, 69, of Butler, was sentenced to nine months of probation with the first 30 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring for accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property. Ries was charged Aug. 18 and pleaded guilty Jan. 25.
Brandon M. Crosby, 29, of McKees Rocks, was sentenced to nine months of probation and must pay a $50 fine for disorderly conduct. Crosby was charged Feb. 5, 2020, and pleaded guilty Feb. 8.
Kevin E. Gumpp, 56, of New Castle, was sentenced to 48 hours to six months in jail, pay a $500 fine and serve eight hours in a litter pickup program for his first offense driving under the influence. He was immediately paroled with the first seven days on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Gumpp was charged Aug. 24 and pleaded guilty Feb. 8. In a second case, Gumpp was sentenced to 30 days to six months in jail, 25 hours of community service and a $750 fine for driving under the influence, his second offense in 10 years. Gumpp was immediately paroled with the first 45 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Gumpp was charged Aug. 24 and pleaded guilty Feb. 8. In a third case, Gumpp was sentenced to 50 hours of community service, a $1,500 fine, four years of probation and 90 days to one year in jail for driving under the influence, his third offense. Gumpp was immediately paroled with the first 105 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring. He was charged Oct. 15 and pleaded guilty Feb. 8.
Brandy Lynn Lane, 33, of Emelton, was sentenced to one year of probation and a $50 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia. Lane was charged Oct. 7, 2019, and pleaded guilty March 11. In a second case, she was sentenced to one year of probation and a $50 fine for possession of a controlled substance. She was charged Oct. 8, 2019, and pleaded guilty March 11.
Albleh Jodarbee Clements, 41, of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, was sentenced to five years of probation with the first 105 days on house arrest and a $1,500 fine. Clements was charged Aug. 24 and pleaded guilty Feb. 8.
Devin Lee Parker, 31, of Butler, was sentenced to a total of 11-and-a-half to 23 months in jail for simple assault and resisting arrest. Parker was immediately paroled after getting credit for time already served. Parker was charged Jan. 1, 2020, and pleaded guilty Feb. 8.
Steven Ward Dunmire, 27, of Butler, was sentenced to six to 23 and a half months in jail for possession of a controlled substance. Dunmire was immediately paroled. He was charged July 8 and pleaded guilty Feb. 22.
Carlos Anthony Garcia, 28, of Natrona Heights, was sentenced to nine to 23 and a half months in jail and one year of probation for possession with intent to deliver heroin. He received 28 days for credit for time already served. Garcia was charged Jan. 22, 2020, and pleaded guilty Feb. 8.
Christopher Stubenbort, 32, of Butler, was sentenced to six to 23 and a half months in jail for possession of a controlled substance. Stubenbort was immediately paroled. He was charged Sept. 22 and pleaded guilty Feb. 22.
William Paul Bosanac, 42, of North Versailles, was sentenced to five days to six months in jail and a $300 fine for driving under the influence as a second offense. He was immediately paroled after receiving credit for time already served. Bosanac was charged May 28 and pleaded guilty Jan. 27. In a second case, he was sentenced to 90 to 180 days in jail, 54 months of probation and a $1,500 fine for driving under the influence as his third offense.
Charles Lawrence Poole, 29, of Butler was sentenced to one year of probation and a $100 fine for resisting arrest. Poole was charged June 1 and pleaded guilty Feb. 1.
Sierra Rhea Frazier, 25, of Butler, was sentenced to six months of probation and a $300 fine for driving under the influence. Frazier was charged Jan. 21, 2020, and pleaded guilty Feb. 8. In a second case, she was sentenced to six months of probation with the first 45 days on house arrest, a $1,000 fine and 25 hours of community service for her second offense of driving under the influence. She was charged Jan. 21, 2020, and pleaded guilty Feb. 8. The two cases are running simultaneously.
Zachary Michael Canavan, 29, with no known address, was sentenced to nine to 18 months in jail, one year of probation and a $100 restitution order for aggravated assault, criminal trespass, fleeing an officer and theft. Canavan was charged July 13 and pleaded guilty Jan. 27.
Brittney Rae Barilaro, 32, of Monaca, was sentenced to two years of probation for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Barilaro was charged Jan. 19, 2018, and pleaded guilty Oct. 19.
Destiny Mae Youngworth, 25, of New Castle, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail, a $1,000 fine and 15 hours of community service for driving under the influence. Youngworth was charged June 19, 2018 and pleaded guilty Dec. 28.
Jennifer Needham, 47, of Butler was sentenced to one year of probation and must pay a $15.04 restitution order. Needham was charged May 26 and pleaded guilty Jan. 27.
