Historic tour slated for Foxburg
FOXBURG, Clarion County — The Butler County Historical Society and the Associated Artists of Butler County are sponsoring a historic tour through Foxburg on Oct. 19.
The tour will begin at 9 a.m., and a motor coach will depart from the back parking lot of Butler Motor Transit on South Monroe Street.
After arriving in Foxburg at 10:30 a.m., tourists will have the opportunity to visit the Foxburg Wine Cellar, the Red Brick Art and Craft Gallery and the Foxburg Fineries antique store.
A light lunch will be served at noon at the Foxburg Inn, then visitors will be taken to the Fox Mansion. The motor coach will then depart for Butler, arriving at about 5:30 p.m.
The autumn tour is $65 per person, which includes transportation, lunch and the tour.
Seating is limited, and tickets may be purchased at the historical society, located on the seventh floor of the National City Bank Building at the corner of Main and Jefferson streets or by calling 724-283-8116 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
Tickets may also be purchased at the AABC Art Center at 344 S. Main St. or by calling 724-283-6922, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
