That jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus, will listen to Christmas wishes from children inside the Penn Theater on Main Street after this year's parade.

Children can tell Santa what they'd like for Christmas this year indoors at the Penn Theater on Main Street.

After the Spirit of Christmas Parade, which begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Santa will receive visitors until 2 p.m.

Children will receive gift bags and hot chocolate. Also planned are singing, storytelling and a viewing of the Jim Henson movie, "Emmit Otter's Jug Band Christmas," in the upstairs theater. The film will start right after the parade at approximately noon, and will be shown a second time at 1 p.m. It has a run time of 48 minutes.The event is free.
