Matt and Mike McConnell

Karns City seniors Matt and Mike McConnell are among six sets of twins playing high school basketball in the Butler County area.

Even though they are seniors, their classmates, teachers and coaches occasionally still have trouble telling them apart sometimes.

"It's no big deal," said Mike McConnell, who is a starting guard for the Gremlins. "It's better now. I think it's funny."

"Sometimes people won't pay attention when they see us and call me Mike," Matt added. "Some teachers still can't tell is apart."

The other set of male twins playing basketball in the county are Justin and Brandon Stadelmyer. Both are juniors at Mars High School.
