The Butler A.M. Rotary Club will host the third annual Sweetheart Charity Gala at 6 p.m. March 3 in the Grand Ballroom of Cornerstone Commons, Main Street. Proceeds from the gala benefit the Community Health Clinic of Butler County.

The semi-formal event includes hors d'oeuvres, dinner, a silent auction and dancing to the Trinity Jazz Band.

Table sponsorship opportunities are available for local businesses, and contributions for the silent auction are needed.

The Rotary clubs of District 7280 (mid- and northwestern Pennsylvania) will host the Annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Conference from June 10 to 15 at Westminster College.Candidates must be students entering their senior year of high school in the fall. They must demonstrate leadership potential in school, church, or community service and have a desire to contribute their skills to the conference.The conference features 5½ days of activities that include lectures and discussion of leadership skills, youth-related concerns, public issues, community service, career guidelines, and recreational activities.Candidates will be chosen by April 5.Information is available by contacting Rotary Club members.
