Paul and Laura Johnson

Paul and Laura Johnson of West Sunbury will celebrate 50 years of marriage July 14 with a picnic for family and friends at the home of their daughter.

Johnson married the former Laura Bachman on July 13, 1957, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler.

The Johnsons have two children, Cathy Laskey of West Sunbury and Tracy Price of Galway, N.Y. They also have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Johnson is retired from Armco Steel. His wife is retired from the Butler Auto Auction.

They both enjoy bowling and camping. They belong to Springdale Lutheran Church.
