The next Reality Tour drug prevention programs will be presented at 6 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Butler YWCA, 120 W. Cunningham St., and Sept. 13 at the Mars Home for Youth in Adams Township.

LYNDORA — Participants in bingo nights at the Vagabond Center Thursday, Friday and Sunday are asked to take nonperishable food items to be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul food cupboard.

PENN TWP — Retirees from AK Steel's melt shop, maintenance and repair departments will meet for a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at the South Butler Fire Hall, Old Plank Road.The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided by the Ladies Auxiliary.

SAXONBURG — The Alzheimer's Association-Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, and Elmcroft of Saxonburg, formerly Outlook Pointe, will host a four-part family caregiver series beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 5.Topics, to be discussed on consecutive Wednesdays, will include an overview, communication techniques and managing behaviors, legal issues, and preparing for later stages of the disease.
