British Touch
In an effort to promote European tourism, Trans-World Airlines and local travel agencies brought a British omnibus to Butler in September of 1968. Residents were able to ride the open air bus through Butler, gaining a new perspective on the city. In recent weeks, the Butler Transit Authority has placed into service a new trolley bus. The 30-foot bus was made to look like a classic red trolley by a California Company, Cable Car Classics. The trolley replica joins three other new buses that the authority rolled into service in the spring.
