DALLAS — A Pennsylvania woman will soon have something in common with Paul McCartney, Elizabeth Taylor and Aerosmith — she'll appear as an animated character on "The Simpsons."

Cheryl Yex of West Newton won a contest that was part of a marketing blitz for "The Simpsons Movie." The campaign included making over about a dozen 7-Eleven stores to look like the knockoff Kwik-E-Mart of Simpsons fame.

Yex said she entered the contest hoping to win a Kwik-E-Mart smock.

The mother and stepmother of two teenage boys said she hopes her character won't be too goofy.

"Maybe they can draw me into a scene at Moe's Bar or even better, the Kwik-E-Mart," she said.
