People can contribute to the Butler County Humane Society's mission through the following ways:

Adopt a dog or cat. Fee is $85 for a dog or cat 6 months or older, $100 for a puppy or kitten, and $50 for a dog or cat 7 years or older. Spay and neutering fees are covered by the BCHS. The facility is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on all other days.•

Buy a membership. Individual memberships are $25; family memberships are $50. Members receive the BCHSquarterly newsletter and a 10 percent discount on adoptions and merchandise.•

Sponsor a pet. $12 covers one day of an animal's care, $80 covers a week, $160 two weeks, $320 a month, and $960 three months.•
