NAZARETH - Dan Wheldon took advantage of a fiery mishap during a pit stop by leader Sam Hornish Jr. and extended Honda's winning streak to 12 races with a record-setting victory Sunday in the last race at Nazareth Speedway.

Wheldon's third career victory and third of the season came in the Firestone Indy 225 - the IRL's 100th race. It was an emotional victory for car owner Michael Andretti, a lifelong resident of this Lehigh Valley village who won the first race at the track in 1987.

Dario Franchitti, a winner a week earlier at Pikes Peak International Raceway, made it a top-three sweep for Andretti Green Racing - the first in IRL history.

SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, Belgium - Michael Schumacher even sets records by finishing second.He was runner-up to Kimi Raikkonen in the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday, only the second time in 14 races this season Schumacher did not win. But the German scored enough points to clinch an unprecedented seventh Formula One drivers' title.Raikkonen's winning time over the 4.3-mile circuit was 1 hour, 32 minutes, 35.274 seconds, with an average speed of 123.589 mph.

ALOHA, Ore. - Craig Stadler closed with four straight birdies in a 5-under-par 67 for a one-shot victory Sunday at the Tradition and his second major on the Champions Tour.Stadler finished at 13-under 275, a stroke ahead of Jerry Pate (66) and Allen Doyle (71) at Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club. Hometown favorite Peter Jacobsen was one of seven golfers at 11 under.

CROMWELL, Conn. - Woody Austin made a 6-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to beat Tim Herron and win the Buick Championship.Austin shot a 4-under-par 66 and finished 10 under in regulation for his second career victory and first in 274 events. The former bank teller earned $756,000 for the win, his first since the 1995 Buick Open.Fred Funk shot an even-par 70 and finished 9 under, in a three-way tie for third with Tom Pernice, Jr. (67), and rookie Zach Johnson (66).

KUTZTOWN - Lorena Ochoa birdied three of the last four holes to overcome a five-stroke deficit and win the Wachovia LPGA Classic.Ochoa finished with a 65 to score a 19-under 269 for her second career win.Grace Park finished with an even-par 72, two strokes behind Ochoa. Park set a tournament record through 54 holes with a 17-under 199.Hee-Won Han (67) and crowd favorite Jill McGill (73) finished four strokes back at 273. Beth Daniel shot 68 to finish alone in fifth place.

COMMACK, N.Y. - Lleyton Hewitt tuned up for the U.S. Open by defeating Luis Horna of Peru 6-3, 6-1 on Sunday in the TD Waterhouse Cup final for his second straight ATP title.Hewitt, seeded second and playing as a wild card, won 20 of 22 first-serve points. Horna, seeded ninth and seeking his first ATP title, had 32 unforced errors.
