PITTSBURGH - Starting free safety Chris Hope accepted the Pittsburgh Steelers' one-year tender offer of $656,000 on Friday.The Steelers had the right to match any offer to Hope, and team signing him would have been required to give the Steelers a third-round draft pick.Hope became a starter last season after two seasons as a backup, finishing second on the team with 97 tackles. He also made his first career interception.
